I am mountain biking in Arizona currently. My family lives here so I try to travel here as much as possible during the winter months so that I can cycle. I am relatively familiar with the area, but I am not able to keep track of all the new trails. I also like to find new places to ride. I have been using Trailforks to navigate the trails, especially when I come to an intersection with which I am unfamiliar. I very nice woman told me about this mobile app when I was here last winter break (I teach, so I have these breaks) and stopped at an intersection trying to figure out my location in relation to where I had parked my vehicle. I love this app. It is free and made by the folks at Pinkbike. It is the most comprehensive set of trail maps that I have ever used (this includes stand-alone GPS units as made by Garmin and others). Although it is free, you should definitely send some cash their way so that they can continue the upkeep of this fantastic app. Check it out. That is all for now.
